In this role, you will be working inside a thriving and growing manufacturing facility that designs, tests, produces, and ships Door Closers, Door Controls, and Electromechanical Door Controls used in Hospitals, Schools, Churches, Sports Arenas, Hotels, and large Institutional buildings. The duties of Fabricator – Class II provides an intermediate step for the completion of the total door package before shipment to the customer, ensuring the highest quality and care is taken to exceed customer expectations and satisfaction. This position must assemble and build the foundation of the door package. The employee must use care in selecting the appropriate color, length and materials for the individual order. There are three (3) classifications under the Fabricator position. Employees may express an interest in learning other class skills.
Training will be provided in each step process whenever practical. Upon completion of step training, employees must demonstrate competence in performing the job duties. Individual training documents will be maintained in the employee’s work history records.
