GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

This employee will complete a wide range of responsibilities, including nationwide travel averaging 60% of the time, with the other 40% spent in-house locally in Monroe NC. The technician will work on complex OEM textile manufacturing equipment as a machinery mechanic / electrical tech to complete repair, maintenance, refurbishment, installation, and commissioning of machines onsite at the customer’s facilities. The employee will aid in the production of new machines and repair/refurbishment/maintenance of parts and machine subassemblies in the local company plant. Duties will also include calibration of both electrical PLC controls and machinery produced by the company, as well as troubleshooting and problem solving. All required work will be self-guided and managed, with the company expecting a high level of successful results.

Summary:

The responsibility of the Conveyor Service Technician (Belt Splicer) Leader is to lead/direct up to 4-person teams, and the installation and repair of heavy industrial conveyor belts and conveyor systems at mine and job sites.
