Our client is a global manufacturer of precision gearboxes, with US HQ in Charlotte, NC.  

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager – West Coast ( CA, WA, OR, AZ, NV, UT) - home office 

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory in the United States. This role requires a proactive individual with strong relationship-building skills, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of our products and market. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with the Inside Sales team to support existing clients, identify new business opportunities, and execute sales strategies that align with the company’s goals. 

  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Territory Management: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory. 
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. 
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting new clients, conducting sales presentations, and closing deals. 
  • Collaboration with Inside Sales Team: Work closely with the Inside Sales team to coordinate efforts on existing and new projects, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction. 
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations to senior management. 
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Neugart’s products and services, effectively communicating the benefits and features to customers and prospects. 
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and territory performance, providing insights to the Vice President. 
  • Travel: Travel within the assigned territory as necessary to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and support business development efforts. 

  

  

Qualifications:  

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in managing and growing a sales territory, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field preferred. 
  • Skills: 
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
    • Technical aptitude and ability to understand complex products and solutions.  

 

Travel Requirements:

What are you going to do?
