On behalf of our client, the U.S. subsidiary of a European-headquartered manufacturer,  we are looking for a top-notch Finance and Accounting Professional.

 

In this role, you will be in charge of managing the U.S. subsidiary’s finances, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations at all times. Working closely with the local management and the sales and service teams, as well as the European headquarters, you will ensure that the company’s financial goals are met.

 

Job location: Dallas, NC

 

Job responsibilities:

• Managing and reporting of company’s financials

• Preparing company’s annual budget

• Reconciling bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers

• Completing analysis of employee expenditures

• Managing income and expenditure accounts

• Generating financial reports using income and expenditure data

• Keeping a check on company’s finances based on the financial status

• Filing and remitting taxes along with other financial obligations

• Initiating and managing the accounting software

• Maintaining an organized workspace and properly filing documents, updates, and financial information, so it is readily accessible for reference and/or review

• Regular communication with management to monitor companies’ financial objectives

• Supporting/performing internal and external audits

• Optimizing processes and supporting year end filing

 

 

  

 Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Advanced knowledge and experience of/with spreadsheets

• Experience with general ledger functions

• Ability to work independently

• Analytical skills

• Experience with SAP-by-Design is an added value

 

 

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Accounting / High School Diploma/GED equivalent with proof of accounting certificates e.g. CPA

• 3+ years of work experience in a similar role

 

Preferred:

• Previous work experience in a medium size industrial company in a highly responsible role

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced Excel skills

• German language skills a huge plus!
