Job Description

MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Specific Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and changed as needed)

  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for metal stamping equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks to avoid disruption in production.
  • Oversee emergency repairs and ensure timely response to equipment failures.
  • Monitor and maintain metal stamping presses, robotics, conveyors, CNC machines, and related equipment.
  • Manage equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams for process improvements.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance department’s budget, including labor, materials, and parts.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure quick turnaround during repairs.
  • Optimize costs through effective maintenance strategies and vendor management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (required).
  • 10+ years of experience in maintenance management, specifically within an automotive or metal stamping environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
  • Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, organizational and planning abilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups employees and provide clear, brief, and accurate guidance and instruction
  • Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, effectively, in a manner that promotes growth and goal-oriented achievement.
  • Must be able to work with difficult employee personalities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
