MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Specific Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and changed as needed)
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for metal stamping equipment.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks to avoid disruption in production.
- Oversee emergency repairs and ensure timely response to equipment failures.
- Monitor and maintain metal stamping presses, robotics, conveyors, CNC machines, and related equipment.
- Manage equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to improve efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams for process improvements.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance department’s budget, including labor, materials, and parts.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure quick turnaround during repairs.
- Optimize costs through effective maintenance strategies and vendor management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (required).
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance management, specifically within an automotive or metal stamping environment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
- Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, organizational and planning abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups employees and provide clear, brief, and accurate guidance and instruction
- Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, effectively, in a manner that promotes growth and goal-oriented achievement.
- Must be able to work with difficult employee personalities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
