Senior Planner / Scheduler – Data Centers

As a Senior Planner / Scheduler, you will play a key role in delivering complex, data center projects by developing and maintaining critical project schedules that drive success.

Your Role:

As a Senior Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing project schedules, providing technical expertise, and ensuring seamless coordination of construction timelines. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and stakeholders to develop baseline schedules, analyze progress, and optimize project delivery.

What You’ll Do:

Project Scheduling & Management

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor baseline and progress schedules for projects over $100 million.

  • Oversee scheduling for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements.

  • Manage schedules with over 5,000 activities, ensuring accurate sequencing and resource allocation.

  • Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in establishing and maintaining project schedules, resource plans, and cash flow projections.

  • Provide time impact analyses to support contract revisions and project adjustments.

  • Ensure compliance with company scheduling procedures and best practices.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Gather and analyze schedule data, preparing concise progress reports and narratives.

  • Forecast scheduling impacts and recommend strategies to mitigate delays.

  • Maintain quality control of all scheduling documents and processes.

  • Contribute to enterprise-wide master scheduling and reporting efforts.

Training & Process Improvement

  • Train Project Managers and Superintendents on scheduling procedures and techniques.

  • Provide formal CPM scheduling training for company employees.

  • Capture and document lessons learned from completed projects to refine best practices.

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of scheduling experience on large-scale ($75M+) construction projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Expertise in CPM scheduling techniques and principles.

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including cost and resource loading capabilities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and synthesize complex data.

  • Experience in high-rise and building construction scheduling.

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.

  • Understanding of Lean Pull Planning concepts.
