Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
 
• Support minor repairs and adjustments of production equipment during production
• Conduct changeovers of raw material master rolls and mother rolls
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Operate overhead cranes
• Ensure adhesive supply is constant to drum heaters
• Complete all paperwork and labeling for each roll
• Complete accurate quality system documents
• Follow all policies and procedures related to TS16949
• Maintain safe work practices at all times
• Ability to respond quickly to issues that arise during Production
• Maintain Housekeeping and Organization in Coating area
• Demonstrate safe use of sharps
• Support 5S activities in Team
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
 
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Read, write, speak, and interpret English language, including documents such as schematics, drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Ability:
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and metric system. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills required.
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to drive a forklift, stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally manually lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, carry up to 25 pounds, push and pull occasionally up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
