Senior Superintendent – Mission Critical Construction

Your Role:

As a Senior Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind project execution, overseeing field operations, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and fostering strong relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners. You will lead teams on fast-paced, ground-up data center projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.

What You’ll Do:

Project Leadership & Site Management

• Lead and manage all day-to-day job site activities while ensuring OSHA safety compliance.

• Direct field personnel in alignment with the project plan, maintaining efficient workflows.

• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to the Project Manager.

• Manage site logistics, trade partner coordination, and adherence to the project schedule.

• Serve as the key liaison with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and governing authorities.

Scheduling & Execution

• Develop and maintain the Project Baseline Schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager.

• Lead Pull Planning meetings and ensure seamless execution of the six-week lookahead schedule.

• Monitor and adjust timelines to meet contract requirements and exceed client expectations.

Safety & Quality Assurance

• Conduct pre-construction safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations.

• Oversee subcontractor safety compliance, ensuring all site-specific plans and documentation are in place.

• Implement quality control measures, ensuring all project benchmarks and inspections align with the schedule.

Collaboration & Problem Solving

• Work closely with the General Superintendent and Project Executive to address materials, sequencing, logistics, and personnel challenges.

• Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to project issues in real time.

• Maintain clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders to drive project success.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience managing ground-up Data Center/Mission Critical projects.

• 8 to 12 years of relevant construction experience in complex, fast-paced environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).

• Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and manage field personnel.

• Expertise in project scheduling, subcontractor management, and safety enforcement.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems decisively, and maintain client relationships.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to balance budget and construction needs.
