Make a difference as an Inventory Associate
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Associate to join the team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate parts stock counts, and supporting the overall efficiency of maintenance operations.
Openings on 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd Shift (10pm-6am)
Duties
- Support and maintain 6S / Continuous Improvement Activities
- Track and analyze parts inventory using various methods including spreadsheets and SAP software
- Oversee inventory levels and proactively order additional products and supplies when necessary.
- Maintain quantities and storage locations of all spare parts throughout the plant.
- Proactively search and provide OEM part numbers for rapid ordering of spares.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in tracking inventory and analyzing stock levels
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting required
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving procedures.
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement within maintenance operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
